495 EDITION LIMIT: Concorde 50th Anniversary Coin and Stamp Cover

On 21 January 1976, Concorde made its first commercial passenger flights, with British Airways flying from London to Bahrain and Air France departing Paris for Rio de Janeiro via Dakar. It was the moment supersonic travel moved from experiment to reality.

To mark 50 years since that historic day, this limited-edition Concorde Coin and Stamp Cover brings together official Royal Mint and Royal Mail issues in a single commemorative presentation.

This exclusive cover brings together:

  1. The UK 2026 Concorde 50p Coin, struck to Brilliant Uncirculated quality and featuring a specially commissioned Concorde reverse design.

  2. A Royal Mail 2026 Concorde First Class Stamp, issued for the 50th anniversary.

  3. The original 1969 Concorde Stamp Set, recalling Concorde’s first test flights and early development.

Each cover has been officially postmarked by Royal Mail with 21 January 2026 – the exact 50th anniversary of Concorde’s first commercial flight, and the first day of issue for the 2026 Concorde stamp.

Limited Edition of JUST 495

Only 495 covers have been issued worldwide, each individually numbered and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity. Once allocated, no further covers can ever be produced.

This is a rare opportunity to own a single cover that spans three defining moments in Concorde’s history – from its early promise in 1969, to its commercial breakthrough in 1976, and its official commemoration in 2026.

A fitting tribute to one of the most iconic aircrafts ever to fly.
