VE Day European Allied Nations Coin Set

Originally released in 2020 to mark the 75th anniversary of VE Day — the day peace returned to Europe in 1945 — several world-renowned mints released limited-edition coins to honour the nations that helped secure Allied victory in the Second World War.

Now, five years later, three of these remarkable 2020 commemoratives have been brought together in one exclusive collector’s set. Each coin pays tribute to a European Allied nation whose courage helped shape the outcome of the war.

Your Set Includes:

  • Netherlands 5 Euro Coin - Silver-plated and designed by Marijke van Warmerdam, this coin celebrates the Netherlands' full liberation on 5th May 1945.
  • France 2 Euro Coin - Featuring dual portraits of Charles de Gaulle — as wartime general and post-war President — this official Euro coin honours the legacy of the Free French Forces.
  • Belgium 2.5 Euro Coin - Designed by Luc Luycx and issued by the Royal Mint of Belgium, this coin marks the liberation of Brussels on 4th September 1944.

Your Belgium and Netherlands coins arrive housed in the official themed coin cards, while your French coin is encapsulated in official Change Checker packaging — all ready to be added to your collection or displayed in a Change Checker album.
