 The 2017 Jeremy Fisher 50p coin has been issued to celebrate one of Beatrix Potter's most loved animals and one of Beatrix Potter's 23 children's tales, 'The tale of Jeremy Fisher’.

This coin is part of the second series of Beatrix Potter 50ps, following the success of the 2016 collection. Struck by The Royal Mint for circulation, it has already proved to be extremely popular with coin collectors.

The reverse design features Jeremy Fisher while the obverse features the fifth definitive portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Jody Clark.
