This presentation features the 2026 St. David 50p, issued by Guernsey and struck to a Brilliant Uncirculated quality, alongside both the 1st and 2nd Class Country Definitive Stamps, officially postmarked by Royal Mail on St. David's Day - 1st March 2026.

Only a small number of commemorative covers can be issued with a one-day-only postmark. And for that reason, this time-sealed presentation has a strict worldwide edition limit of just 495. 

The ground rose under him - St. David of Wales 

Famous for performing miracles and acts of healing, St. David is best known for having the ground rise beneath him to form a hill when people at the back of a crowd complained that they could not hear him preaching. 

He lived a life of pious austerity, teetotal vegetarianism and devotion to spreading the word of God. And while rooted in Welsh history and heritage, St. David remains an ever present symbol of Welsh identity.
