This exclusive set of five brand-new coins has been officially approved by Buckingham Palace to mark the 60th anniversary of Thunderbirds — making them the world’s first 50p coins to feature the legendary vehicles of International Rescue.
Each Sterling Silver coin showcases one of the iconic Thunderbirds machines — from Thunderbird 1 through to Thunderbird 5 — brought to life in vivid colour. The level of detail perfectly captures the imagination, innovation, and adventure that made the series a British classic.
The designs have been illustrated by acclaimed comic book artist Lee Sullivan, celebrated for his work on Doctor Who, Transformers, and now Thunderbirds. His unmistakable style makes these coins a must-have tribute to six decades of TV greatness.
